I bought this unit on sale at Best Order for $79.99. I was especially skeptical about the quality for the value, but with the large game subsequent weekend I could not resist.
I stopped by BevMo on my way home. This unit ONLY utilizes Beertender compatible kegs. So far, only Heinekin, Heinekin Light, and New Castle are on the market for this machine. If you do not like any of those beers, skip it.
Fortunately, BevMo had the Heinekin and New Castle minikegs in stock, but it was not cold.
I brought it all household and started to set it up. It was Particularly Straight forward. The directions are all illustrated with written directions a couple pages later.
Items I did not know before set up:
1) It takes specific "BeerTender Tubes". I did not know about these until I started setting it up. I looks like you can only use them one particular time. There were 6 included with purchase. It looks like replacements are offered on Amazon for $9 for 6 tubes.
